Last weekend, I went to a cabin with zero reception. No Instagram, no emails, no news.

The first few hours were anxious. My hand kept reaching for a phantom phone in my pocket. But by evening, something magical happened: time slowed down.

The Benefits of Nature

Studies show that spending time in forests lowers cortisol (stress) levels. The Japanese call it Shinrin-yoku or "Forest Bathing".

We spent the days hiking and the evenings reading by the fire. I returned to the city feeling like I had been gone for a month.
